HANNAH
Hannah is another owner-surrendered,
sweetheart. Reason?? The owner wasn't
committed to their pet, obviously. Nothing
wrong with this baby - defective owner!!
Hannah is approximately 10 months old,
current on her vaccinations, and already
spayed! She's got that beautiful iridescent
coat like a Weimaraner, only her's is much
darker. They have her as a Lab mix, but
she's smaller than a Lab. Please go see her
in Kennel 42...expect her to be very
exuberant at first, but know that she calms
down once she's out of the cage for a few
minutes. Remember that she's a pup and
wants everything the World has to
offer...none of which is in that cage with
her. Adopt Hannah today, and adopt her for
good!

HAWKEYE

Hawkeye
is quite the looker, isn't he? One blue eye and
one brown - makes you take a second look every
time! This Siberian Husky mix is approximately
2 years old, neutered, and surprisingly calm. He didn't
like having the camera pointed at him, and he'd
bark at it; but, put that away, and he is just
putty in your hands. Very loving, walks well on
leash, and seems very well-behaved. This boy
was someone's baby until he got lost! Please
check out Hawkeye in Kennel 39, and make him
YOUR baby today! P.S. There are
several Huskies at the shelter right now!
Available from Pasadena Animal Rescue.

HONEY
Honey
is a spayed Husky mix... YES, Husky! =) Not sure
what she is mixed with, but whatever it is,
really makes her as sweet as honey! The staff
is in love with this dog, and why not?! Despite
how she may look at first glance, those green
eyes are really filled with adoration. Honey is
very affectionate and loving and tries to please
with every thing you ask of her. She's young
and has lots of life ahead, if someone will take
the time to see the sweetness in this girl.
She's in Kennel 30, and she is filled with hope
that someone will want her to live with them
forever. She is truly a Honey of a deal!!
Available from Pasadena Animal Rescue.

JESSIE
Jessie
is a beautiful, spayed-female Yellow Lab mix who had a
family once, but after 4 years, they gave her up to animal
control. Poor girl lost everything, through no fault of
her own. Her 'home' now is Kennel 32 at animal control
where she still shows a smiling face and happy demeanor. We
don't think she yet realizes that her family isn't coming
back for her - ever. Please be the family that will love
her and KEEP her for the rest of her life, no matter what
happens in yours. This dog is wonderful and never deserved
to be tossed aside like last night's leftovers. Please show
Jessie what a good family is like!! Available from Pasadena Animal Rescue.

JUSTUS
Justus
is a Chocolate Lab mix whose been stuck in the
shelter too long, especially for a young, happy boy
like him! He's probably about a year old and full
of vim and vigor as all young Labs are! He's
miserable and barks for attention and begging to be
let out of that smallish cage so that he can run in
the tall grass and follow his nose to the nearest
butterfly! Once he's out, though, he soon settles
into a nice boy who wants to learn what you have to
teach him. He's a beautiful dog that doesn't
deserve to be spending his young months in animal
control kennel #52! Adopt this good dog today and
give him the good life!
Available from Pasadena Animal Rescue.

MONKEY
Monkey
was a lost little soul rescued from the side of a busy highway near
a thickly-wooded area where he had evidently been living, or trying
to live, anyway. He came to us a total matted mess, so matted in
fact that we weren't sure if he was a boy or a girl, or even what
breed he was until we were able to get him out of his cocoon. What
we found inside is an adorable little boy thought to be a Shih
Tzu, with lipid brown eyes and a calm sweetness about him that is
undeniable. He's NOT that old, but he doesn't seem to know how to
play. He much prefers to sit quietly and watch the action without
getting all hot and bothered! Monkey claimed that as his name when
he responded so strongly to a comment made when he was being shaved
down that his face looked like a little monkey's. At which point,
the little thing did a couple of whirls around and looked up at us
expectedly, like, "HOW did you know my name??" So, we tested him
again...calling him all sorts of other name, but when we threw in
"Monkey," the same response came from this precious little boy!!
So, "Monkey" became his name, and he likes it just fine.... only
LATER did we discover that bananas are a favorite treat of his!
Monkey is fully vaccinated, neutered, housetrained, and has a brand
new beautiful coat, now. He's NOT a dog for an active household;
preferring peace and quiet as a way to fill his day. He gets along
fine with other dogs, and he can get frisky, but it doesn't last
long. He's quite the distinguished gentleman, and expects to be
treated that way. If you think your home is a good match for this
darling fellow, please apply for Monkey today!
