GEORGIE
Georgie
is a special case. His Kennel Card NO LONGER
says: "This dog is fearful and may bite!!!" He
has become a favorite among the staff, and has
come out of his shell! If you visit him, expect
to have him plop into your lap and give you tiny,
little quick kisses! He still does the sniff and
poke routine, and it's obviously a playful,
affectionate gesture. Georgie is a YOUNG terrier
mix with those mesmerizing green eyes that plead
for understanding and love. Georgie just needs a
little time to figure out he's not going to be
hurt and to come to trust you. After that,
I guarantee that he will have you holding your
sides with his antics! Georgie is Special, I tell
you! He's in Kennel #50 and when you leave,
he presses himself sideways at the gate to
watch you go. He's a great dog who just needs a
tiny bit of time and patience at first. Apply for
Georgie Only if you are as special as he and plan
to make him a real part of your family! He
deserves the best and that's what you'd be
getting, too!
Available from Pasadena Animal Rescue.

GRACIE
Gracie
is very frightened in the shelter! This sweet
young dog was too fearful to walk down the row
of barking dogs to the door. We carried her
out, and she was SO happy to be outdoors,
breathing fresh air and away from the noise.
Gracie's time was up, but we asked that she be
given a grace period so we could show her to
you! So, by just by grace, she's there waiting
for you in Kennel #05! Please don't let her
down! You'll never find a sweeter, more
grateful dog than Gracie!

GRETA
Greta
has evidently been struck in the face
somewhere along the line in her little life.
Her bottom jaw juts out to one side, giving
her the appearance of talking out of the side
of her mouth! It is an endearing look, but
one can only imagine how painful it was,
especially since she didn't receive any
medical care for it. And, as typical of dogs,
this little girl has just adapted to her
situation and is as sweet as can be.
Greta only wants to be close and loved. You
can see it in her face - not an ounce of
bitterness or meanness in this little body.
She's an adult, so she'll never get any
larger, and she's just the absolute perfect
cuddle size.

GUVNER
Guvner is
so named because he's definitely a politician. He
really should be in the Governor's race!! He wants
to shake hands with everybody he sees, and would
definitely kiss all the babies in the room - He's
pretty much a baby, himself! And with the size of
THOSE paws, you know you've had a handshake!
Guvner is a young, German Shepherd mix who has THE
most gorgeous coat. It's a
little longer than
expected, but not too long.
And his coloring is so,
so beautiful - all the way to the gold/green eyes
that plead for help.
This gorgeous dog is someone's
dream dog, if only they will see him before it's too
late! He's been on and off the euthanasia list
several times, now. Please hurry, if you are
interested in adopting this gorgeous pup! He will greet you with an handshake and
a smile in Kennel 54!
Available from Pasadena Animal Rescue.

HOLLY
Holly
is a wee-bit overweight, would you agree? But, she's on a diet and she's
getting walks everyday to help her lose down to the point she actually
looks like a Lab again! =) Really, we think maybe all of this is just
pure sugar because there isn't a sweeter soul on this Earth! She is NOT
an old dog, although her weight makes her appear to be! You should see
her tail doing full 360's when she's doing her little jog! This is a
happy, healthy dog inside all this blubber! Once that's all melted
away, you will find a 5 or 6-year-old dog who is ready to take on the
World! Please consider Holly only if you plan to keep her weight loss
program going! She appears to be housetrained and in Kennel #59, lying
the quilt one of her volunteer-admirers brought to keep her elbows off
the concrete. YOU will be the Biggest Loser, if you don't bring
Holly home to share life with for the coming years!!

JACK
Jack is a
gorgeous Catahoula Leopard Dog mix. He's only about a
year and a half old and he's strikingly handsome, as
you can see! That one blue eye will pierce your
soul, and the brown one will heal it up! =) Jack
is a good size and a good age for a family to
incorporate into their lives. Don't let his time run
out in Kennel 51! He's got so much to offer and is
so willing to do your bidding! Adopt him today
and See Jack Run with joy into your arms and heart.
Available from Pasadena Animal Rescue.

JASPER
Jasper
is only about 5 months old! This is NO place for
him to be spending any of his puppyhood!
This happy pup wants to romp and play in the
sunshine; but found himself at the shelter
instead. What a beautiful boy with so much living
ahead! Please see Jasper in Kennel 32 and take him
home to grow and thrive in your loving care! He
will repay your kindness ten times over, if only
given a chance. Don't delay! The clock is
ticking!!
Available from Pasadena Animal Rescue.

JINGLES
Jingles
is a young, male Australian Cattle Dog, or more
commonly called a Red Heeler; and this one is blessed
to have kept his tail! He's full of energy and just
needs stuff to do! He's miserable just sitting in
Kennel #11, and would so welcome a little visit from
you, especially, if you wanted to bring him home with
you afterwards! He's got a little bo-bo on his head,
but it's healing nicely and is nothing at all
permanent. Please check out Jingles soon! Tis the
Season, you know! Available
from Pasadena Animal Rescue.

MAGGIE
Maggie
was lost and on the streets before she came
here. She's terribly frightened here as she's
never seen a place like this before! Her owner's
were notified that she's been picked up by animal
control, but they haven't come to save her!!!
Sometimes people just don't care, and sometimes
they can't pay the fines...in both instances,
guess who suffers! Maggie is Suffering! She's
terrified but never gave any resistance when we
picked her up to lug her outside - see, she's too
afraid to even walk on those slick floors! But,
once outside, she came alive and slathered us with
kisses and whipped us with that wagging tail! It
was heartbreaking to have to take her back inside,
but we had to. She's in Kennel 27 and we all
know that large, black dogs have less chance than
any other of being adopted! Please make Maggie
the exception to that rule! Take her home with
you and show her that her new family won't forsake
her!
Available from Pasadena Animal Rescue.
