ROXY
Roxy
is a female, tri-colored Basset Hound! What is she doing
in animal control?? She appears to be housetrained and in
excellent health. Poor dog is diligently watching for her
owners to retrieve her. While we were taking her photos,
she saw a man and woman walking to the shelter door, and
she got very excited. She was wagging big and wailing to
them, until she realized that they weren't who she thought
they were. Heartrending to see her disappointment! Her
owners haven't come for her and she needs a home now.
Please see Roxy in Kennel 39 and give her a new and better
life with people who will never forsake her!

SANDY
Sandy
is another lost dog who MUST have had a family at one time.
He loves people and begs for attention at the gate of Kennel
26. Just look at those pleading eyes. Sandy is
guesstimated to be about two and a half years of age, so
he's past the puppy stuff and ready to settle in with a
loving family. Please bring Sandy home to stay and enjoy
all the shepherding and guarding of a devoted dog who will
love you with all his heart!Don't make him wait too long in
the kennel.

SANTINI
Santini is a young, gorgeous Weimaraner. He's a little
skinny, but some good food and rest will take care of that.
This handsome fellow is in Kennel 01 and watches every person
who comes past his cage to see if they like him enough to
apply to adopt. He has high hopes of getting a really great
family to share life with when he leaves the shelter. Don't
make him wait too long!

SKITTLES
 Skittles
is Such a cute girl, isn't she? Probably a Schnauzer mix,
this sweet girl was full of vim and vigor as expected from
the Terrier breed. Another thing about Terriers is that
they are very intelligent! So, brains AND beauty....what
more could anyone ask for? Visit Skittles in Kennel 19,
and see for yourself what a charmer she is! Hang on to your
heart!!

SUNNY
 Sunny
is one gorgeous German Shepherd mix!She didn't look very
gorgeous when we found her in Kennel 37, but with just a
simple raking out of the dead coat she turned into the
beautiful animal you will find at the shelter! She was
found in a shopping center parking lot, just begging for
food. Here at the shelter, at least she's out of the cold
and she's being fed! She is very skinny now as you can see
from the photos, but she's going to fill out again, and
really be beautiful. Please consider this sweet, sweet
dog, if you can give her the love and care she deserves.
She stood very still while our volunteer raked out all that
old coat... she only moved enough to slather the volunteer
with kisses. SO Grateful to be cared for and so loving
towards humans. Please don't leave her to spend another day
alone in animal control! Ask to see Sunny and then see how
fast you fall in love with this gentle, loving dog!

TICKER
 Ticker
is a looker, isn't he? No one is sure, but he could be a Pointer
mix! He's as beautiful as a painting,
though. Ticker is already neutered and ready to go! He does
great on leash, appears to be housetrained, and those gold-brown
eyes will mesmerize everyone he meets! Ask for Ticker in Kennel
27 and fall in love like we did! This beautiful dog belongs in a
home! He's a real find!

TINA
 Tina
is a small German Shepherd mix who was found lost on the
streets. She had an owner at one time, that's evident; but,
where are they now?? She's waiting in Kennel 67, but no one has
come for her and time is of essence at animal control! Tina is
much smaller than the standard GSD, but still bears all the
beautiful markings. We love her blonde face that allows you to
more easily see those eyes searching every new face with hope
that THEY will be the ones to take her home! Please bring Tina
into your heart and home soon! You will see that she's a keeper
as soon as you touch her!
Available from Pasadena Animal Rescue.

TOOTSIE
 Tootsie
is still a pup and one ear is lagging a little behind the
other in the art of standing! However, if the wind is just
right, that ear pops up perfectly, too! =) She is a
sleek girl with a beautiful white chest. Too cute not to
adore, and so ready to do a little living! As we've
mentioned before, it's the black dogs who are the least
likely to be adopted. People just don't seem to notice them
as they walk through the kennels; so, please take notice of
Tootsie in Kennel 47 and break the cycle of leaving the
black dogs behind! She's a sweetheart! Available from Pasadena Animal Rescue.

ZOEY
 Zoey
is just a BABY! Not more than 4 months old and already
this big! =) We think she has the characteristics of a
Great Dane mix, but it may be still too soon to know for
sure. Someone may have thought she was a Boxer because
her tail has been docked - poor baby. We just know that
even if she's kinda big for her age, she's still a little
baby inside and she's scared here all alone in Kennel 14.
She happily stood very still for her pictures and
then more than willingly gave kisses and snuggles in
return for a few moments of feeling safe. This precious
little girl is going to be a magnificent animal and she
wants to grow up in a home with a loving family! Please
make that come true! She's just so innocent and sweet.
Available from Pasadena Animal Rescue.
