BLONDIE

This precious little blonde pup was found abandoned after renters left their home.  She had no food or water - not even a BOWL for food and water... Nothing.   The landlord happened to find her before it was too late, though; and now here she is looking for a home!  She's only about 3 months old and doesn't weigh anything...maybe 4 or 5 pounds.   She looks solid blonde at first glance, but on closer inspection you can see tiny white spots called 'ticking,' like on a Heeler or a Bird Dog of some sort.   YET, she's so dainty...  Her face is reminiscent of a Dachshund or maybe Chihuahua, but beyond that we are at a loss.  However, her Personality is a sure thing!   Happy, loving, playful, and oh, so grateful!    If you are interested in a whole lot of years of precious, loving companionship, please apply for Blondie today!  Her pictures are cute, but she's WAAAY cuter in person!   Fill out our Adoption Application or E-mail us.

BOOGIE

Boogie is a Chihuahua mix little guy of about 2 years of age. He gets along fine with the other Chi's in the foster home, but he did try to bully them a bit at first.  He's over that now and is learning to play with toys and share his chew sticks.  He's OK with cats if they don't arch, hiss and run...he will give chase if they do that; but, a cat who is accustomed to dogs and doesn't run is just sniffed and left alone.  Boogie sleeps with his foster parents and they say, "he's a Bed Hog!"  He loves to be held and will eat as many baby carrots as you hand out.  The foster Mom said when he first arrived, she thought he was doing a lot of growling, but has come to realize that the sound is just Boogie Talk!  He's very vocal and has a lot to say!  This little guy is full of personality and needs a loving home to call his own.  He's housetrained, fully vaccinated, neutered and was heartworm free when we got him!  He receives regular monthly heartworm prevention.   Boogie is a good boy - don't let your opportunity to share life with him pass you by!  Apply today! Fill out our Adoption Application or E-mail us.

BUCK

We think Buck may be a Mastiff/Boxer mix.   No one knows for sure, but we certainly know that at approximately 95 pounds, he's a big, but gentle, hunka-hunka lovin!  You don't know dog kisses until you've been slathered by Buck!  =)   He's young, intelligent and strong; but, he's also sweet, gentle and affectionate.  There isn't a mean bone in his body.  He loves other dogs and he ADORES people, men in particular.  Buck never meets a stranger, and every one becomes his friend.  He was tested with cats, and he truly didn't seem interested beyond simple curiosity.  One thing he does NOT love is being confined to any small space.   He wants to be free to move about the house and to interact with any other living beings!  He knows 'sit' and 'down,' and is anxious to learn more!  He is good on leash, and loves to go for walks.  He also loves to chase squirrels and play in the backyard with the other dogs in the foster home. Buck needs a truly committed family.  He will require bit more in every respect (financially, space, time ) than a small dog; BUT, he will also give back more than you can imagine in Love, Devotion and Joy.  He has been wormed, fully vaccinated, neutered and we are keeping him heartworm free by giving him regular heartworm preventative.  Buck is a fantastic dog!   Fill out our Adoption Application or E-mail us.

CHANCE

Chance is a young Rat Terrier who had a rough start in life, but all that's over now!  This handsome and exceedingly sweet fellow has been living in a BHS Foster Home while he has regained his health, been fully vaccinated, and neutered.  Chance is a wonderful little guy of about 15 pounds who does fine with other small dogs, but is a little frightened at first by larger ones.  He is housetrained, doesn't bark unnecessarily and loves his toys -particularly a stuffed bunny that he carries everywhere with him.  Chance is a great little dog, actually!  We think he would do OK as an only dog with a retired couple, but we know he loves the companionship of small dogs, too.  He doesn't care for cats, though!  If you'd like to give Chance a great home, please contact us today!  Fill out our Adoption Application or E-mail us.

DANI

Dani is a Mini-Dachshund mix, most likely (judging from those EARS) mixed with Chihuahua.  There couldn't be a cuter little dog!   She is very gregarious; loves all people and loves the other dogs, large and small, in the foster home.   She's a cuddle bug; but, with the slightest prompting, will happily go for a romp, too!  This little precious is about 10 months old, weighs less than 6 pounds, and she's been trained to pee-pads.  Dani has been fully vaccinated, spayed, is heartworm Negative and ready to find her very own forever home.  If you think that your home is the one she's waiting for, please apply now.

Dani in her new home!
