Please meet Aggie! This cute little street-dog is a Pistol! =) She is soo happy to be alive and she wants the World to know that she survived! A spunky little thing who plays hard but well with other dogs and will give you kisses all day when you hold her to cuddle. She is very intelligent and inquisitive! As such, she will require a very secure yard or she will be out there exploring the world without you! =) At approximately a year of age and all of 6.5 pounds, Aggie has been fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. She tested Negative for heartworms and is receiving regular heartworm prevention. This little scruffy-faced darling is ready for adoption, and whichever family is lucky enough to adopt her will be Blessed to have her share life with them.

This miniature Poodle mix is named Angel because that's the name that fits her best! She is an absolute Love-Bug, all dressed in her white corduroy! =)   Angel is a mature young lady who is fully vaccinated and spayed. Since her teeth and ears have been cleaned she is feeling especially beautiful and feisty! Angel gets along great with the other small dogs in the home, and she is house-trained, as well!  If you are looking for a sweet cuddler who has a cute, playful personality, then look no further! We have an Angel for you.

This is Annabelle! A precious little Schnauzer-mix girl who is estimated to be 1-2 years of age, weighs 21 pounds, and is ready for adoption!  Annabelle is playful and very smart! She is housetrained and knows how to use a doggie door. She is good with other dogs and children; and while she has not been around cats, she did see one at the vet's office and didn't show much interest. She likes to play fetch and also entertains herself with toys and chew bones. She likes to cuddle and give kisses while watching TV with you. Basically, Annabelle is an icon for the terrier personality...goofy, fun-loving, intelligent, energetic and affectionate, all wrapped up in one cute little package. Annabelle is in a foster home in the Austin area, but transport can be arranged for the right home!

Annabelle is thrilled to have found her best pal!

This absolutely precious blue Pit Bull is THE sweetest little Pittie around!  She looks brown in some of these pictures, but she is really a beautiful, rich gray color.   Baby was found in a deep, watery ditch guarding an old pizza box that she had already licked down to the cardboard!
Baby is just that... a young, sweet, innocent little girl who needs a good home with lots of love and play to share!  She is about 2 years old, weighs approx 50 pounds and has been fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped!  She tested heartworm Negative and has been receiving regular heartworm prevention.  Baby is both crate and house-trained!  She does not enjoy stormy weather, but she doesn't pace or drool.  She just gets in a close, tight space and waits for it to pass.  She has her own Thundershirt in bright pink, and she happily stands still while you put it on her.  She knows it makes her feel better.  =)
This sweetheart is a happy, energetic little girl who loves to ride in the car, play fetch, and is a pro at catching a single kibble in the air!   She hasn't been tested with cats, but by the way she stalks and chases squirrels, I wouldn't risk it.  But, there is No exaggeration when I say that this little Pit is a total lover!  If you think you would like to spend a bunch of years having fun and cuddling with this little girl, please apply for her today!

BamBam is a precious little thing who came to us with an intestinal obstruction that was causing unbearable pain and would have cost him his life, if not removed.  His family relinquished him to Baytown Humane to save his life.   VERGI did the emergency surgery  and BamBam was transported to a BHS Foster Home after several days in the hospital!

This little guy has fully recovered from that surgery, and has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and he tested Negative for heartworms.  BamBam is approximately 2-1/2 years of age and he weighs a little over five pounds!  We love the little stripe on his nose and his ability to cuddle! He likes to sleep under the covers, but doesn't want any other dogs in his nest!  LOL!!  BamBam was a bit of a loner when he arrived, but is now interacting more with the other dogs and actively plays with one of them in particular.   He came to us fearful of men; but, now his foster father has shown him that all men aren't mean and he actually will play with him, too!  LOVES to have his head scratched, but does not demand attention.   He prefers to do his "business" outdoors, but he has been known to use the wee-pad, too.   BamBam says that all he needs, now, to make his life perfect is a safe and loving home.  Please apply for him, if you can provide that last bit of perfection!

This is Bandit - so named because he steals hearts!  =)   This cute little guy weighs in at about 11 pounds and is approximately 10 months old.  Of course, being a young Terrier, he is inquisitive, energetic, and comical.  He is playful and good with other dogs and he loves playing with his toys.  He's not really a "lap dog;" but, he is affectionate and will cuddle for naps and at night in bed.  He loves people and wants ALL the attention; but, he is not destructive as in chewing furniture, electrical cords, or shoes.  However, he will grab a napkin from the end table and shred it like a pro!   He has been fully vetted, neutered, had his dew claws removed (they were dangerously floppy), and microchipped.  He tested Negative for heartworms and has been on regular heartworm prevention since coming into our Program.  If you would like Bandit to be your own, please apply for him today!  He will steal your heart, for sure!

This is Bear....  the "Teddy" is silent!   He is soo gentle and sweet that he really is a teddy bear!  We believe Bear is a Flat-Coated Retriever (mix?) and only about a year-and-a-half old!  When Bear was rescued from the streets he was not doing well.  He was  thin, (although it was hard to tell that because of his coat) had intestinal parasites, and heartworms.  But, even with not feeling great and being very hungry, Bear was a gentle soul.  He has since been wormed, vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and treated for heartworms.  His Foster Home is taking great care of him; so, he now weighs in at approx 55 pounds, his coat is gorgeous, and he is house-trained!   He's good with the other three dogs in the home, and we haven't seen anything but sweetness from Bear!  He's young, so he has lots of good years to give to the lucky family who adopts him!  If you feel you can give Bear the home and life he deserves, please apply to adopt him today!

Bear ready to check out his new digs with his adopted family!

Booker is a young, handsome, male German Shepherd who has been fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and housetrained! He was rescued from the streets with a wire tied around his neck and his owner was found... found to not want Booker anymore.  So, Booker came into our Foster Program, and has been thriving with all the good care and love he has been receiving.  He is now ready to find this exact situation, only on a permanent basis!   Booker is thought to be approximately 1 to 2 years of age and he weighs just under 90 pounds. He loves playing with toys, and he likes taking a dip the pool!!  He is in a home with no other dogs, but he appears to just want to play when he sees one on walks. Booker has been around children, occasionally, and does fine with them; although because of his size and energy, older children may be best. He is typical of GSD's with his loyalty and protectiveness of his family (barks when strangers come to the door, etc). If you believe you can give this magnificent animal a safe and happy home, please apply today by completing the adoption application!

Hank was his original name, but it has morphed into "Bubba" these days!  =)   This sweet German Shepherd mix puppy was rescued after being trapped in a thicket of bushes and brambles.   He is now approximately 4 months old, weighs in at about 25 pounds, and has been fully vetted.   He will be neutered in a few weeks, and before adoption.   Bubba gets along well with other dogs, and he is extremely lovable!   He will cuddle and he will play in equal portions!   He's coming along with housetraining; although, at his young age he still has a few accidents.  He is looking for a home willing to let him thrive as a puppy, and teach him the ropes for becoming a cherished family member.  If you think you may have the perfect home for Bubba, please complete the online pet adoption application.

This darling is named Bunny!   Her coat is every bit as soft as a bunny's, and she's been known to do the "Bunny Hop" when she gets excited, like when her food is being prepared or her humans come home.  This precious, sweet baby is very well-behaved, not destructive and totally housetrained.  She's good on leash and looks forward to her walks.  But, be warned! - Bunny has a fetish for cows!  LOL!!   Her foster mom says she can get really stubborn when she sees a cow on their walks, because she REALLY wants to go investigate that creature - every time!!  Even though she loves her walks, and plays well with her roomies, Bunny is very much a cuddly lap-dog.  She will sit on your lap for hours; but, for sleep, she prefers her own bed in the room with her humans.  She likes to 'den' under the blanket and sleeps the night through with no trouble.  So, this little girl of ~3 years and 14 pounds has been fully vaccinated, wormed, and spayed.  She has everything going for her -   looks, personality, manners, and good health!   This one is a true cream-puff; and, if you are interested in adopting her, you should not waste time in filling out the application for Bunny!

Bunny in her new home, with her loving new family!

Camden is obviously a gorgeous Black Lab (mix?).  His foster family calls him "Milo," but the foster Mom says he should be named "Shadow" because he follows her Everywhere!   =)  We guess his age to be 1 to 2 years and he weighs in at about 60 pounds.  He has been fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped.  Camden is a new and improved version of himself and he loves his new lease on life.  He's good with other dogs and adores people!  He enjoys belly rubs and ear scratches and repays your kindness with lots of kisses, if allowed!  Camden is young, very attentive, intelligent, and affectionate.  He has been taught to sit and shake for his food and then he really dives in!  He is house-trained and has a great disposition.  This handsome boy is looking for his forever home, and begs that people will look past just the color of his coat, and see what is inside  -  a Great dog who so wants and deserves this chance to have a home and family to call his own!  If that family is yours, please apply Today!!  Some lucky family will be Camden's to love!!

Camden with his new family!!

Clara is a tiny little thing who has a Big heart full of love and kisses!   She is a bit shy at first, but who wouldn't be if you weighed only 5 pounds!   Clara LOVES her walks on leash and she's good with other small dogs... AND, she does OK with cats!   She LOVES her humans  too!  When her foster mom comes home from work, she wags her little tail so fast that her entire body wiggles; thus, giving her the nickname, "Wiggle-Girl."   She is a super snuggler, and that's about her favorite thing in the world...snuggling with her human.  Clara has been fully vaccinated, spayed, and kept on regular heartworm prevention to ensure she stays heartworm free.   If you think you can offer Clara a home worthy of her virtues, please complete the application today!   She is truly a little Doll!!

Clara, giving her new mom a hug on adoption day!

CoCo is a precious little girl who was adored by her owner... but, her owner has passed away and CoCo needs a new home to help her move on with life.   This cutie is mostly Dachshund with the possibility of a little Chihuahua mixed in!  She is less than 15 pounds, 3 to 4 years old, and a TRUE lap dog!   She is current on vaccines, receiving regular heartworm prevention and she is spayed.   Additionally, Coco is house-trained with a dog door and gets along great with other dogs... She loves her toys, too; but, her MOST favorite thing is to be with her human(s).  This is one of those elusive 'perfect' dogs who needs a great home to give and receive lots of love.   If that's the home you can offer, Please apply to adopt Coco, today!  The perfect ones don't come along very often, you know!

Coco surrounded by love in her home!!
