The kindergarten children at James Bowie Elementary School in Baytown collected and donated $91 to Baytown Humane Society during this year's Pennies for Pets Campaign!  Thanks to these young Americans, another animal will be made adoptable and find a great home.

James Bowie kindergarten teachers,  Janie Harris, Asha Kenebrew, Dana Loria, and Kim Reel are teaching their students to count to 50 AND to give to a worthy cause, all in tandem! 

For the third consecutive year, the youngest children at James Bowie have gathered thousands of pennies for the penny cards that hold 50 and then donated the total to help the animals at their Humane Society
